지난 5월 26일 글 사랑방 모임에서는 서윤석 소설가의 <환생> 영문 번역 <The Reincarnation>을 읽고 토의하였습니다.

 한글 version으로 된 <환생>은 우리 모임에서 토의 한 적이 있으며 이번에 큰 노력을 기우려 영어로 다시 쓰셨습니다. 그 노고에 큰  박수를 보냅니다. 

소설은 다음과 같이 시작했으며 흥미있게 진전되었습니다.

Autumn was passing by. The shy cosmos bloomed along the cold creek water.  It was the season when the falling leaves were rolling on the ground.  In October everything departed. People gathered together in front of Kang Kyungsik's burial place and sang the farewell hymn.  Each mourner placed a white rose on his coffin. .....
